A Joal Ares conversion on a Deutz TTV chassis fitted with original Renault front weights. The cab features mirrors, grab rails with intergrated indicators, registration plate and wiper. Mirrors are handmade from polystyrene (plastic card) and 1.5mm brass rod. The realistic dirt look is achieved by painting clear lacquer paint over particular areas and sprinkling fine clay on the model and blowing off the excess. Touch up with dark brown and black paint to complete the look. The final two images are of a 620RZ fitted with Joal S Type Valtra wheels
The Renault 103.54 conversion uses a UH Celtis chassis while the big brother 155.54 is on a Britains Cergo chassis. Joal front axle and Valtra S type front wheels are used, rear wheels are Cergo. Usually cab extras include mirrors, diamond lights, indicators (off UH Renault Celtis) and front and rear fenders.
Other conversions variations include using all Valtra S type wheels and TTV front linkage while the latest conversion is on a UH Deutz chassis fitted with UH Ares wheels.
